Acacia Tree Fundraising is a specialist fundraising and communications consultancy supporting the not-for-profit sector.
With decades of combined experience across Australia and Europe, we provide services including fundraising campaign design, interim management cover, internal change management, strategy and budget development and generating actionable insights from data.
Our experience comes from helping some of the best-known not-for-profit brands raise millions and engage with many thousands of people, including Save The Children, Amnesty International, Greenpeace and VSO.
I have supported many organisations that aspire to make the world a better place. But I'm also a pragmatist and understand how difficult it can be to create positive social change. For me, the point is to pursue a more just, fair and positive society for all.
With nearly a decade working as a fundraising consultant, and over 24 years of experience working in a fundraising capacity supporting for-purpose, and not-for-profit organisations, I have a wealth of experience to draw upon.
I love working with people, always trying to understand what motivates and engages them, and I apply this passion to my fundraising work. I am a member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia, and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (UK). I have worked as a volunteer both at an operational level and a governance level, with years of experience working on boards, senior leadership teams, as well as supporting organisations both large and small as an independent fundraising consultant.
I am an accomplished fundraiser, marketer and communicator, with experience gained in senior leadership roles in not-for-profits such as Greenpeace, Amnesty International and Beyond Zero Emissions. I have a creative and ambitious approach to my work, and a practical understanding of how to use complex data analysis to drive results.
My specialisms include digital and direct marketing, with years of experience securing 5 and 6 figure funding from trusts and foundations. I have also overseen complex, multi-agency tele-fundraising programs, which generated thousands of regular donors from digital lead generation campaigns.
My work is always evidence-driven, and I like to empower teams and programs to be self-sustaining and to learn iteratively. However, my greatest talent is to generate compelling communications which speak to people in human, accessible language - prompting a deeper level of emotional engagement, loyalty to a cause and ultimately driving them to take action.
